MGO System Requirements

Browser Type
MGO must be used with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher. (Download the latest version at microsoft.com.)

Computer
Minnesota Grantmakers Online is designed for optimal performance when used with a PC. The application will work with Apple computers, but not at optimal performance.

Internet Access Speed
Because Minnesota Grantmakers Online provides access to a large database with large, complex search functions, the application is designed for optimal performance when used with Internet access speeds of 128K or higher (ISDN, DSL, Cable Modem, T-1, T-3). MGO can be used with Internet access speeds as low as 56K, but its performance will be slow. 

Browser Set Up
To access and use MGO, your browser must be set up to accept "cookies." MGO uses temporary session IDs (or "cookies") during your user session only and does not store them permanently. To enable cookies on your browser, follow these simple steps:

1. Go to "Tools" on your IE browser.
2. Select "Internet Options".
3. Click on the "Security" tab.
4. Click on the "Custom Level" button.
5. Scroll down until you see "Cookies" and click on the "Enable" button for "allow per-session cookies (not stored)".
6. Click OK, then OK.

4. Move the slider down to "Accept All Cookies".
5. Click Apply, then OK.
